Every time an American steps into the Lincoln Memorial, he is stepping into a pagan temple. At least that’s what the inscription above the idol of Lincoln says. But the Lincoln Memorial is only one of thousands of American Idols scattered through the land.
AMERICA: LAND OF IDOLS
For years, the top-rated TV program in the USA was American Idol.
Coincidence?
The United States is, and always has been, a nation of idols–in direct contradiction of the Word of God.
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”
–Exodus 20:4
The Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial Lincoln Memorial: the list of American idols is long–and this is just the list of those created with the help of the American taxpayers. Add Mt Rushmore, statues or memorials commemorating war and countless others and truly, America is a land of idols.
Every city has its idols. Rare indeed is the American town without a statue or two in its town square “commemorating” any number of past people, places, things or events.
Washington is the capital of the USA and it’s in Washington that one can find every sort of idol and pagan temple.
AMERICA: LAND OF PAGAN TEMPLES
IF any more proof is needed, doubters can consult the inscription above the gigantic idol in the Lincoln Memorial, a building which was constructed to LOOK like a giant pagan temple–which couldn’t be any more clearer.
“IN THIS TEMPLE
AS IN THE HEARTS OF THE PEOPLE
FOR WHOM HE SAVED THE UNION
THE MEMORY OF ABRAHAM LINCOLN
IS ENSHRINED FOREVER”
Thousands from across the nation come every year to pay homage in the Temple of Lincoln.
Another idol in another temple in a land full of such things–a land proud to be a “Christian Nation.”
