WHY DO COUNTRIES ELECT GROTESQUE PEOPLE TO LEAD THEM?
Did you ever wonder why Americans voted for Barack Obama?
Or why Americans thought that George W. Bush was a Christian?
Or how Bill Clinton could ever be elected?

For the same reasons, people have wondered how the highly-civilized Germans could have elected and followed Adolph Hitler:

In other words: morally ruined societies select marginal or grotesque personalities to lead them because those personalities superbly represent the debauched people who admire–and ultimately vote for–them.
It is the triumph of Paris Hilton over Jesus Christ.

And that sums up why America has been condemned to the national leadership it has received over the last 30 years or so.
Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, the two Bushes, Barack Obama and Ronald Reagan: these American “leaders” all reflected the society they led; they all reflected America after 1968.
