The Gospel of Jesus Christ

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”
Romans 1:16

 THE POWER OF SALVATION!

The gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ.  Literally.

The word “gospel” means simply “good news.” What good news concerning God’s Son reveals the righteousness of God and is the power of God unto salvation?
The Good News Gospel

The gospel is the power of salvation.  Yes, the gospel–according to Romans 1:16– is the key to eternal life!

How exciting is that?

And just what is the gospel message?

THE GOSPEL

“Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time. ””
1 Corinthians 15:1-8 – (h/t:B)

Paul’s gospel message of 1st Corinthians was succinct and to the point.

Are you saved?  Are you sure?

Eternal Salvation Through Jesus Christ: Salvation Messages from End Times Prophecy Report

“Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel, If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole; Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
Acts 4:8-12

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
John 14:6

Get saved and go tell others of your transformed life.

Testify of what Jesus Christ has done for you.  Confess Jesus before men.

“Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.”
Matthew 10:32
