2- The author makes statements based on a hodgepodge of unsupported claims (“Yet, Christians today do not sound much like the Christians then” and “before most Christians are even concerned about it“ [Implying that “most” Christians are not concerned about TSA abuses. On what does the author base this claim?])
3- The author claims “For the record, I don’t watch (much) right-wing television or believe there is a global cabal working toward a New World Order.” For that same record, what does Mr. Non-believer have to say about Psalm 2:1-2? Clearly the Bible teaches that there will be a NWO-type one-world government and that a conspiracy of powerful men/rulers is behind it.
4- The author claims “I suspect, were our Founding Fathers still around, they might just be convening a new constitutional convention to deal with the erosion of our freedoms.” Of course, the founders did no such thing in their day. FIRST, they rebelled against the existing governmental authority–in direct contradiction of multiple scriptures. The constitutional convention wasn’t convened until 6 years after the end of the Revolution. Note: at that 1787 constitutional convention, the founders set up the very system with which the author is so upset today?!? Seems like his beef should be with James Madison instead of with today’s Christians.
5- Lastly, the author attempts to circumvent the most-quoted scripture against rebelling against the civil authorities: “Unless we admit there are some limits to Romans 13, the government becomes like a god, rather than an instrument of God.” Perhaps the author needs to take that up with God Himself? Maybe he can persuade God to change His word? Maybe the Holy Spirit forgot to inspire Paul to include the “admit there are some limits” clause?
The author may protest that an earlier article of his from 2010 advised resistance. That article was schizophrenic. Advising Christians to resist–but insisting that those who headed the agencies responsible for the policies to be resisted were okay. “I do not consider Secretary Napolitano and TSA Administrator John Pistole to be bad people with nefarious motives.”
This is the type of article we’re seeing from such publications as Christianity Today, which was founded by Billy Graham. As publisher of the article, CT obviously approves of its sly disinformation.

Barton: Glenn Beck Is A Christian Who Identifies As Mormon Simply Out Of Loyalty – When is a Mormon not a Mormon? When he’s really a Christian! The article contends that Barton has been “unequally yoked” with Glenn Beck, who believes in a different Jesus and different Gospel. But is it unequal? From the article:

This writer has written several articles on the subject and there are more seriously unanswered questions than there have been answers. One is: where did Huma get the money to pay off an expensive DC house on a $22K salary? When Anthony Weiner coincidentally appeared in 2008, all of the Huma-Hillary articles stopped. Huma-Weiner were married by Bill Clinton in 2010.

TWA 800 Revisited – Another article where the writer insists that he doesn’t “subscribe to conspiracy theories”–and then promptly has to admit the “conspiracy theory” is the more credible explanation; that the government/media’s version of events is baffling.
Conspiracy theory is just another way of saying that there is another version of events other than what the government and/or Corporate Media has force-fed the public. It is not a bad thing–regardless of the years of attacks by an uncredible Corporate Media. Those who attack”Conspiracy Theories” would prefer all Americans to proclaim: “I’m too lazy/tired/busy to think. Tell me what to think. Think for me!” We’re almost there. Do you know Jesus?
